Benching / Show Hours Check-in is from 7:30-8:30 am Saturday morning. Judging begins at 9 am. Advertised show hours are 9 am to 5 pm. Awards Ribbons and rosettes will be awarded in each ring in accordance with CFA rules. All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. General Information All entries are expected to be free of fleas, fungus, and infectious illnesses. It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly know as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, calici viruses and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All claws of all entries must be clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible to compete. No kitten under 4 months old will be allowed in the show hall. CFA show rules will be strictly enforced.
