SHOW HALL: Zamora Temple, 3521 Ratcliff Rd. Irondale, AL 35210. The show hall is heated and air-conditioned. Free parking. Birmingham Feline Fanciers will take reasonable care of cats and property of exhibitors; neither the Club nor Zamora Temple is liable for loss of property, damage, or accidents to cats or to exhibitors. No cats or kittens allowed in show hall overnight. SHOW HOURS/BENCHING: Check-in will be from 7:30 - 8:45 am on Saturday. Judging will begin at 9 am both Saturday and Sunday. Show hours are 9 am - 5 pm Saturday and 9 am - 4 pm Sunday. No cats will be permitted to leave show hall before posted show hours without the consent of show management. AWARDS/SCORING: Rosettes, ribbons, and scoring will be awarded in strictly in accordance with CFA Show Rules. A copy of show rules may be obtained from CFA by sending $7 to The Cat Fanciers Association, 260 East Main St. Alliance, OH 44601. All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with a Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of cats/kittens without registration numbers can contact the entry clerk for a Temporary Registration Number. HOUSEHOLD PETS: All kittens must be at least four months of age. No de-clawed HHP's may be entered. Cats over eight months of age must be spayed or neutered. Declawed cats are not eligible for entry. Exhibitors with a single entry using any size security cage are required to purchase an extra 1/2 cage. Litter will be provided. Please bring your own litter boxes, pet food, and dishes. Exhibitors are responsible for material or cage curtains to cover the top, sides, and bottom of your cage. HEALTH AND SALES: It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All claws of all entries must be clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. The show committee reserves the right to remove any cat or kitten from the show hall if suspected of having any of the listed ailments until examined by a licensed veterinarian at the owner/agent's expense.
