Note: All entries must be ACFA registered or recorded to be scored for year-end awards. Breeds that MUST BE registered to be shown are Korat, Bengals and Singapura and all NBC class cats. A copy of the registration papers must be included with entry. Show Rules: This show is run strictly according to the rules of the American Cat Fanciers Association (ACFA). A copy is available for $7.00 from ACFA, PO Box 1949, Nixa, MO 65714-1949, or on-line at www.acfacats.com/acfa_rules.htm It is the responsibility of each exhibitor to know the show rules. Overpayments: All overpayments will be accepted as donations. Check-in: Saturday, 7:30 – 8:30 am. Judging will start as close to 9 a.m. as possible. Anyone not checked in by 8:30 am will be marked absent. You must be present to collect all final awards unless prior permission is received from the Show Manager. Supplies: Litter is provided; please bring your own litter pan, food and water dishes. Cages: Cage sizes are 22”x22”x26”for a single cage and 22”x22”x54” for double cages. Novice exhibitors, bring coverings for the top, sides and bottom of the cage. Health: This is a non-vetted show. It is necessary that all cats be inoculated at least 30 days in advance of the show. Proof may be requested, so kindly bring your cats’ inoculation records. Exhibitors traveling from the US are reminded that Canada Customs requires that all cats over 3 months of age must have proof of a Rabies vaccination at least 30 days but not more than 365 days prior to entry into Canada. Entries must be free of fleas, earmites and illness. Pregnant/lactating queens are not permitted in competition. De-clawed cats are permitted. All claws must be clipped prior to showing. If this is not done, it will be performed at a charge of $8.00 per cat. Kittens: No kittens under the age of 4 months will be allowed in the show hall. No cats/kittens are allowed to be kept under the show bench or under grooming table. Kittens in the show must have been born between August 13, 2007 and December 12, 2007. Household Pets: All household pets over the age of 8 months MUST BE ALTERED! Show Hall: Canteen services are available. Vendors will be on site. The show hall is climate controlled and wheelchair accessible. No smoking allowed in the show hall. Confirmation: If you have not received your confirmation by April 4th, 2008, call the entry clerk between 6-10:00 pm Atlantic Standard Time to be sure your entry has been received. Bluenose Cat Club will not be responsible for entries lost or delayed in the mail. Note: All championship cats must have a registration number or you will be charged the listing fee of $10.00. You have until show day morning to provide this number. Liability: The American Cat Fanciers Association, Inc. and Bluenose Cat Club accept no responsibility for loss, damage, injury or accidents to cats, or property and will accept no liability. Bluenose Cat Club reserves the right to refuse entry, or remove any persons or animal from show hall for any reason deemed in the best interest of the show. Parents will be held responsible for the proper behaviour of their children.
