Current Breed Summary

SHOW HALL: Ross Municipal Center 1000 Ross Municipal Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15237. Show hall will be heated or air-conditioned, as appropriate. No smoking is allowed in the areas where cats are benched & where judging is held. The club will exercise due care in the sponsorship of the show, but will not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury. People food is not available at the show hall. Several places are available for delivery.
SHOW HOURS: The show hall will be open for check-in at 8 am. All cats must be benched by 9:15 am or they will be marked absent. Judging will begin promptly at 10 am. All entries must remain in the show hall until 4 pm unless permission is received from the show manager. Advertized show hours are 10 am - 4 pm.
ENTRY INFO: Online entries will be accepted at no additional charge. It is the exhibitors' responsibility to confirm online entries with the Entry Clerk. All entries must be submitted on the official CFA entry blank, accompanied by the proper fees. Per show rule 6.21 each entry must be accompanied by the stipulated entry fee. All online/fax entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. No substitutions after the closing date. No refunds after the entry clerk has confirmed your entry or for failure to bench. A single entry entitles the exhibitor to 1 opening (22" x 22" x 22"); if a full cage is required the exhibitor must pay for an Extra 1/2 Cage Space at check-in. NO EXCEPTIONS.
SCORING: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. Kittens may be entered without registration numbers, but will not be scored for CFA awards if a number is not provided at show time. Kittens without a registration number or TRN will not be included in the count.

No veterinarian inspection prior to benching. Healthy, infection-free cats are expected. It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, calici viruses and rabies. Pennsylvania State Law requires rabies vaccinations. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All claws of all entries must be clipped prior to benching. No declawed entries. Kittens must be four months old by the first day of the show. All HHPs over the age of eight months old must be spayed/neutered.

Cages are approximately22”x22”x22”. Litter will be available. Please bring your own litter pan, water bowl and cat food. The club has the right to add judges not named in the show announcement to judge non-championship and non-premiership classes.
