Entry & Payment Info Entries are accepted now. Entry Fees include CFA & Regional surcharges. Per show rule 6.21 each entry must be accompanied by the stipulated entry fee. All online/fax entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. Make checks payable to Call Of The Wild Cat Fanciers. All fees must be in U.S. funds and accompany mailed entries. Returned check fee is $25 + all bank fees. No substitutions after the closing date. No refunds after the entry clerk has confirmed your entry or for failure to bench. Check your confirmation for accuracy and contact the entry clerk with any corrections BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE. ** HHP, Vets, AOV & Misc are not included when calculating discounts for KIT/CH/PR entries.
Check-In and Judging: Check-in will be from 7 to 8:30 am Saturday. Judging will begin promptly at 9 am on Saturday and Sunday. Advertised show hours are 9 am - 5 pm both days. Exhibitors and their cats must stay in the show hall during the advertised show hours, unless they receive permission from show management.
Show Hall: Grace Pavilion @ the Sonoma County Fairgrounds, at 1350 Bennett Valley Rd. Santa Rosa, CA 95404. Very large and heated, plenty of room for wide aisles and a warm, comfortable show. There will be people food available in the show hall. This is a no-smoking show hall.
Health: It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, calici viruses and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All claws must be clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for entry. All adult household pet entries over eight months of age must be neutered or spayed. No kitten under 4 months of age will be allowed in the show hall. No entry will be permitted to remain in the show hall overnight.
For Sale/Exhibition Cage Rules: Kittens must be at least 4 calendar months of age or older, and comply with all other CFA show rules. For sale or exhibition entries must be on a signed, official CFA entry form or a facsimile.
Hotel Info: There is no official show hotel. Santa Rosa and Rohnert Park have motels that accept cats.
Cage Size: Single cage size is 21" x 21" x 21" and is included with your entry. Double cage size is 21" x 21" x 45". No more than one cat or two kittens may be benched in a single cage. All cages must have curtains covering the back, sides and top in addition to a rug or mat on the floor of the cage. All security cages, Singles and Doubles, require a double cage space, $25 Double Cage fee applies.
Cat Comfort: Cat litter will be provided by Almost Invisible Cat Litter. Please bring your own litter boxes, cat food and dishes.
Scoring: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of cats/kittens without registration numbers can contact the entry clerk for a Temporary Registration Number.
Awards: Ribbons and rosettes will be awarded for all wins in accordance with CFA Show Rules General Information: This show will be conducted in accordance with current CFA Show Rules. A copy of the CFA Show Rules may be obtained for $5 plus $2 shipping from CFA, 260 East Main Street, Alliance, OH 44601.
Liability: Although normal precautions will be taken, Call of the Wild and the Santa Rosa Fairgrounds will not be liable for damage, loss of personal property or personal injury.
