Show Hall: Montgomery County Agricultural Center 16 Chestnut St. Gaithersburg, MD 20877 Phone: 301-926-3100. The show hall is handicapped accessible and is heated/air-conditioned, as needed.
Entry Info: It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to contact the Entry Clerk to confirm receipt of online or fax entries. The Entry Clerk or Club will not be responsible for entries lost due to communication errors. Per show rule 11.08 a.; all entries must be accompanied by proper entry fees. Entries sent online or faxed must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. Make checks payable to Capital Cat Fanciers. Entries may be paid using PayPal but must be received PRIOR TO CLOSING DATE send PayPal payments to meloncali@comcast.net and put Capital Cat Fanciers in the message section. No substitutions accepted after the closing date. No refunds made once your entry is received. CFA registration numbers must be included for all Championship and Premiership classes. * No end of row fee for handicapped exhibitors.
Awards: All Championship, Premiership and Registered kittens will be scored for National and Regional awards. All show rules will be strictly enforced. Copies of the show rules are available for $7 from CFA 260 East Main St. Alliance, OH 44601.
Household Pets: Household Pets over the age of 8 (eight) months must be neutered or spayed and may not be declawed.
Health: All entries should be inoculated against Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis and the Calici Viruses, and we recommend that they be tested for FeLV prior to entering the show hall. All cats must be free of mites, fleas, fungus and any contagious illnesses. All claws (front and back) must be clipped prior to benching
Benching: Check in on Saturday is 7:30 - 8:30 am. All cats must be benched by 8:30 a.m. or they will be marked absent. Check in on Sunday is 7:30-8:15 am. All cats must be benched by 8:15 a.m. or they will be marked absent. The show will start promptly at 9:00 am on Saturday and at 8:30 am on Sunday. Advertised show hours are 9:00 am – 4:00 pm on Saturday and 8:30 am – 3:30 pm on Sunday.
Supplies: Bring your own litter pans. Club will provide litter. Individual cage size is 22” X 22” X 22”.
