Show Hall: Waukesha County Exposition Center 1000 Northview Rd. Waukesha, WI 53188. Show hall is air conditioned, heated and is handicapped accessible. Handicapped benching requests will be accommodated, at no additional charge to the exhibitor. Free parking available. The Expo Center concession will have people food for sale. Our contract with them specifically prohibits bringing in food from outside. Please do not bring coolers inside and help us protect our show hall. In accordance with Wisconsin state statutes and CFA rules, there will be NO SMOKING in the show hall. Hours: Benching will be from 7:30 to 8:30 am. Advertised show hours are 9 am to 5 pm or the end of finals. Scoring: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with a Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of cats/kittens without registration numbers can contact the entry clerk for a Temporary Registration Number. Health: It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All claws of all entries must be clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. Supplies: Litter will be furnished. Please bring your own litter pan. Bring your own cat food, food and water dishes. Cages: Approximate size is 21 x 21 x 21 (single cage, one-half of double, wire cage, included with entry). Second entry by same owner will be benched in the other half of a double cage, or the other half may be purchased for extra $25 (noted as extra half cage), as available. Exhibitors using security cages must purchase extra half cage space if exhibiting one cat in the cage. Single security cage spaces are not available. Bring your cat to the show hall in a carrier or other sturdy container. You will need drapes or towels to hang on the inside and to cover the top and the bottom of the cage. Reasonable care will be taken of all cats and personal property, however, the show management is not responsible for anything lost or damaged. Breakfast is included. To book at Best Western, call Kellie between 7 am and 3 pm and mention the cat show. This Best Western does not usually allow pets and is making an exception for us. Please honor this and dont hide the fact that you have animals with you. 10% lower with AAA or AARP card.
