Entry Information: Entry will be limited to 225 cats. All entries, including “for sale” entries must have a completed, signed, official CFA entry blank or exact facsimile and be printed in the catalog. The entry clerk is prohibited from accepting Championship or Premiership entries (unless the entry is for a Novice) without a registration number. Provisional (kittens or adults) and AOV entries (kittens or adults) must have a registration number. Please make contact with the entry clerk if requesting a Temporary Registration Number for a Championship or Premiership entry. ALL FEES MUST ACCOMPANY ENTRIES. Make checks or money orders payable in U.S. funds to the Emerald Cat Club. CFA show rules state that entry fees must be paid within 10 days after entering or the day of the show whichever is first. A $10 late fee will be charged if payment is not made on February 15th or postmarked on February 15th. Fax or E-mail entries will be accepted. Please make sure your copy is legible before faxing. Typed entries are preferred. Entry clerk will call or email for entry clarification. Paypal is available for this show. No entry fee will be refunded for failure to bench. Check-In and Judging: Check-in will be from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m. Saturday. Judging will begin promptly at 9 am on Saturday and 8:30 am on Sunday. Advertised show hours will be from 9 am - 5 pm & 9 am -4 pm Sunday. Exhibitors and their cats must stay in the show hall during the advertised show hours, unless they receive permission from show management. Benching: All entries must check in prior to benching. This is a non-vetted show. We advise that cats be vaccinated against feline viral rhinotracheitis, feline enteritis, calici viruses and rabies as well as testing for FeLV and FIV. Front and back claws must be clipped before benching. All cats are expected to be free of fleas, mites, and infectious diseases. No kitten under the age of four months will be allowed in the show hall. Blue slips may be required for proof of age. The Show Management reserves the right to remove any cat or kitten from the show hall that, in their opinion, shows signs of illness or disease. Household Pets: Household pets are eligible only for awards in the Household Pet Class. Household pets are to be judged separately from all other cats, solely on beauty and condition. Wild cats or wild cat-domestic hybrid crosses are not eligible for entry. All Household Pets eight (8) months of age or older must be spayed or neutered. Cages: A single cage 21” x 21” x 21” is provided with each entry. A double cage is 21” x 21” x 45”. You may purchase a double cage space for a single entry @$15. Some single wire cages are available upon request. Back, sides, top and floor of cage must be covered. No more than one adult or two kittens per single cage. Please note if you need a single wire cage. Awards & Scoring: All Championship and Premiership entries with registration numbers or temporary registration numbers and registered Kitten entries will be scored for CFA National & Regional Awards. Ribbons and Rosettes will be awarded in compliance with CFA Show Rules.
