Email entries must include all information normally on the Official entry form. Entries from the online entry form are equivalent to Official entry forms. Make checks payable to GEMS for BOTH SHOWS. Cash is required if paying the day of the show at the door. Email and faxed entries will be accepted at no charge. Sorry, NO PAYPAL accepted. No refunds for failure to bench. Use of security cage with a single entry will require the purchase of an extra 1/2 cage space. Hours Each Day: Check-In 7:30 – 8:30 AM. Judging hours are 9:00 AM-6:00 PM. Doors open to the public 9:00 AM–4:00 PM. Show Hall: The Showplace Annex, 3002 Mechanicsville Turnpike, Richmond, VA 23223 Phone: 804-225-8877. The Show Hall heated and air-conditioned as needed. This is a Non-Smoking facility. Parking is free for exhibitors and spectators. There will be no food available at the show hall. Judging will stop for 30 minutes at each show to allow you to go out to nearby food places. Show Hotel: There is no official show hotel, however the following hotels are close to the show hall. Health: This is a non-vetted show. GEMS strongly recommends testing for FeLV/FIV. Cats must be free of fungus, fleas, ear/body mites and contagious diseases. Exhibitors in violation will be told to leave the show hall. General: CFA Show rules will be strictly enforced. Copy of rules may be found at www.cfa.org/Publications/CFAManuals.aspx All cats/kittens must have all claws clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. All championship, premiership and kitten entries with registration numbers or temporary registration numbers will be scored for CFA National and Regional points. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. Registration numbers for kittens can be submitted at the show to the master clerk. It is the Exhibitors responsibility to check entry confirmation and notify entry clerk of any errors. Benching: All Egyptian Mau entries will be benched together. All other benching will be by exhibitor and no changes in assignment will be allowed without permission of the Show Manager. Cages are 22"W x 22"H x 22"D. Benching request made at the time of entry will be honored whenever possible.
