Hours: Check-In; 7:30 – 8:30 am. Judging hours; 9 am - 5 pm. Doors open to the public; 9 am - 4 pm. Show Hall: Richmond Raceway Complex, Colonial Bldg. 600 East Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23222. The Show Hall is both heated and air-conditioned. This is a Non-Smoking facility. Parking is free for exhibitors and spectators. Hotel Info: There is no official show hotel. There are a number of hotels in the Richmond area that accept pets, including the Red Roof Inn, La Quinta, and Clarion. Supplies: Clay litter will be provided. Please bring your own litter pans, cat food, and water/food dishes. Health: This is a non-vetted show. GEMS strongly recommends testing for FeLV/FIV. Cats must be free of fungus, fleas, ear/body mites and contagious diseases. Exhibitors in violation will be told to leave the show hall. General: CFA Show rules will be strictly enforced. Copy of rules may be found at www.cfa.org/Publications/CFAManuals.aspx All cats/kittens must have all claws clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. All championship, premiership and kitten entries with registration numbers or temporary registration numbers will be scored for CFA National and Regional points. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. Registration numbers for kittens can be submitted at the show to the master clerk. It is the Exhibitors responsibility to check entry confirmation and notify entry clerk of any errors. Benching: All Egyptian Mau entries will be benched together. All other benching will be by exhibitor and no changes in assignment will be allowed without permission of the Show Manager. Cages are 22"W x 22"H x 22"D. Benching request made at the time of entry will be honored whenever possible.
