ENTRY INFO: Entries are accepted now. Entry Fees include CFA & Regional surcharges. Per show rule 6.21 each entry must be accompanied by the stipulated entry fee. All online/fax entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. Make checks payable to LAS VEGAS CAT CLUB or send PayPal to lahrens51@gmail.com No substitutions after the closing date. No refunds after the entry clerk has confirmed your entry or for failure to bench. Check your confirmation for accuracy and contact the entry clerk with any corrections BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE.
SHOW HALL/HOTEL Flamingo Hotel 3555 S. Las Vegas Blvd. Las Vegas, Nevada 89109 Phone 888-373-9855. A group rate of $113 per night for a normal room or $239 per night for a mini suite is available until March 29, 2018. This includes a 2 person daily admission to the fitness center. Both Bally’s and Harrah’s will honor the same room rate if you mention the Cat Club when you book your room. Please check the internet for details regarding the Bally’s and Harrah’s hotels. The show hall is non-smoking and has central heating and cooling. People food will be available at the facility for purchase.
SHOW HOURS: Check in: Saturday 8 to 9:30 am on Saturday. Cats not checked in by 9:30 am will be marked absent. Judging will begin promptly at 10 am on Saturday and at 9 am on Sunday. Advertised show hours are from 10 am to 5 pm both Saturday and Sunday. All exhibitors are expected to be present during advertised show hours unless given permission to leave early by the show manager.
HEALTH: This is a non-vetted show. It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All cats/kittens must have all claws clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition.
CFA SHOW RULES will govern this show. A copy of the show rules can be obtained by sending $7 to CFA 260 E Main St. Alliance, OH 44601. Rosettes will be awarded for all final wins. Permanent flats will be used, but ribbons will be available at the owner’s request. The club reserves the right to add or change judges.
CAGES: Cages provided are the standard DOUBLE size cages normally used outside region 5. A single cage is size is 21” x 21” x 21” (included with your entry fee) and a double cage is 21” x 21” x 45”. For Sale Cages Available with 1 or more competitive entry; NO EXCEPTIONS!
BENCHING REQUESTS will be limited to one exhibitor and will be honored when possible. No negative benching requests please. End of row benching requests will be honored as available, with the fee waived for disabled exhibitors.
AMENITIES: Litter will be provided, but please bring your own litter pans. It is also suggested that you bring your own food and water bowls.
NEW EXHIBITORS should bring a towel or rug for the floor of the cage and enough fabric to go around and cover the top of the cage. ALL CATS MUST BE BROUGHT IN A CARRIER.
AIRPORT: No car needed; McCaran Airport (LAS) is less than 3 miles from the show hall/hotel and there are many options of transportation( shuttles, limos, taxis, Uber and more.)
