Show Photographer - Larry Johnson Agility demonstrations will be put on by Jill Sullivan. Exhibitors with cats entered in the show can give it a try for a $3 donation. (This is not "official" CFA Agility.) Jill will also have several of her own cats; for a $3 donation spectators also try Agility. All donations to Agility will go to a local shelter. Bake sale will feature home made goodies and is to benefit a local no-kill rescue. Great raffle which will include a hand made quilt, wine, gift cards, etc. Lots of Vendors! Cat clothing/toy vendor, cat bed/fleece vendor, great cat tree vendor, two cat toy vendors, Lula Roe vendor, and Scentsy vendor. Adoptable rescue kitties. Entry & Payment Info: Entries are accepted now. Per show rule 6.21 each entry must be accompanied by the stipulated entry fee. All online/fax entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. Exhibitors with an odd number of entries using any size security cage are required to purchase an extra 1/2 cage. Show Hall: Illinois Building at the Illinois State Fairgrounds 801 E Sangamon Ave, Springfield, IL 62702. The show hall is handicapped accessible and is equipped with both heat and air conditioning. Food will be available. Scoring: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. Kittens may be entered without registration numbers, but will not be scored for CFA awards if a number is not provided at show time. Kittens without a registration number or TRN will not be included in the count. Hotel Info: There is no designated show hotel. There are numerous pet-friendly hotels in the Springfield area including LaQuinta, Drury Inn, Holiday Inn Express, and Baymont Inn. Be sure to ask about pet fees. Benching Info: Check-in between 8:30 - 9:30 am Saturday. Judging will begin at 10 am on Saturday and 9 am on Sunday. Advertised closing time is 4 pm Saturday and 3 pm Sunday. Health: It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All claws of all entries must be clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. Litter will be provided, please bring your own litter pans. Cage sizes are 22”x22”x22” and is included with your entry. Lucky Tom Cat Club and Tiger’s Lair Feline Fanciers will take reasonable care to safeguard the property of exhibitors and vendors. Neither the club, its members nor the Illinois State Fairgrounds will be liable for any loss or damage. All cats must be removed from the show hall at the close of the show Saturday night. This show is licensed by The Cat Fanciers Association, Inc. All CFA rules will be strictly enforced.
