Check in is from 8:00-9:30 am. Judging will begin at 10:00 am on Saturday and 9:00 am on Sunday. Please report any transfers or absentees at check-in. Advertised hours are 10 to 4 on Saturday and 9 to 4 on Sunday. All adult entries must remain in the show hall during. Show Hall: Orr Building at the Illinois State Fairgrounds 801 E Sangamon Ave. Springfield, IL, 62702 Ph: 217-782-6661. Show hall is heated/air conditioned, nonsmoking, and handicap accessible. Litter will be provided. Show Hotel: Holiday Inn Express 3050 S. Dirksen Parkway, Springfield, IL is directly next door to the Crowne Plaza. This hotel is pet friendly and a block of rooms has been set aside for $79 per night, no pet fee. Transportation: Unfortunately the Midwest Region is unable to provide transportation for fly-in exhibitors. Additional Info: Single cage size is approximately 21"x21"x21", bring cage curtains (or coverings) to cover the sides, top and bottom of cage. New exhibitors are advised to bring cage drapes or towels, etc. for the floor, sides and top of the cage. Bring your own litter pans and food; litter will be provided. It is advised that all entries be tested for FELV, and be inoculated by a licensed veterinarian against Feline Enteritis, Rhinotracheitis, Calici Virus and Rabies before entry. Claws of all four feet must be clipped prior to benching. No declawed cats may entered. All cats must be free of fleas, fungus earmites, and any contagious illness. Show Management reserves the right to cause the removal of any cat from the show hall suspect of any of the above until a licensed veterinarian can make an examination at the exhibitor’s expense. All championship, premiership and kitten entries with registration numbers or temporary registration numbers will be scored for CFA National and Regional points. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. This show will be conducted under current CFA rules. Novice & New Exhibitors: Please inform entry clerk if you are a new exhibitor and we will be happy to assist you. Bring a towel or rug for cage floor & material for sides and top, with clips to fasten material. Please bring bed, food & water dishes and small litter box.
