Entry Info: Per show rule 6.21 each entry must be accompanied by the stipulated entry fee. All online/fax entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. No substitutions after the closing date. No refunds after the entry clerk has confirmed your entry or for failure to bench. Make checks payable to CFA North Atlantic Region; US$ Check only. Returned check fee $50 + bank fees. PayPal is NOT available for this show. Check your confirmation for accuracy! Please contact the entry clerk with any corrections BEFORE CLOSING DATE. Limit one (1) benching request per exhibitor. Use of ANY size security cage with a single will require purchase of an extra 1/2 cage space. *End of Row will be waived for handicapped exhibitors. Please advise the entry clerk if this is your first show.
Check-in: 7:30-8 am. Please report any transfers or absentees at check-in.
Show Hours: Judging will begin at 8:30 am SHARP on Saturday and at 9am on Sunday. Advertised hours: 9 am to 4 pm both days.
Show Hall/Hotel: Best Western Hunts Landing 103 Reuben Bell Dr. (Routes 6 and 209) Matamoras, PA 18336 Ph: 570-491-2400.The show hall is heated/air-conditioned & handicap accessible. Smoking is not permitted where cats are benched or judged. Room rates are $115 (plus taxes) per night, includes pet fee. Make reservations by Friday, May 15, 2017 to receive rate. NO EXTENSION!! Alternate Hotel: Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham 19 Crystal Run Crossing, Middletown , NY 10941 Ph: 845-692-0098. They accept pets with a small pet fee.
Banquet Info: NAR awards banquet will be held Saturday night in the same location. Additional info on www.cfa.org under NAR.
Travel Info: Stewart International Airport (SWF) in Newburgh, NY is about 45 minutes from show hall; cab and car services are available. Newark Liberty International Airport (EWR) is about 1 1/2 hours from the show hall; cabs, car services and rental cars are available at the airport.
Scoring: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. Kittens may be entered without registration numbers, but will not be scored for CFA awards if a number is not provided at show time. Kittens without a registration number or TRN will not be included in the count.
Additional Info: Single cage size is approximately 22"x22"x22", bring cage curtains (or coverings) to cover the sides, top and bottom. Litter will be provided but not litter pans. This show will be conducted under current CFA rules. A copy of the rules may be obtained by sending $7 to CFA, 260 E. Main St. Alliance, OH 44601.
Health: It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All cats/kittens must have all claws clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition.
Liability: The NAR will take reasonable care to safeguard the property of exhibitors. Neither the NAR nor the Best Western will be liable for any loss or damage. No guard service will be available Saturday evening and all cats must be removed from the show hall during the evening hours.
