SHOW HALL: Agriculture Building @ Tennessee State Fairgrounds 500 Wedgewood Ave. Nashville, TN 37203 phone: 615-862-8980. People food available. This is a smoke-free facility. The facility has A/C and heat as needed. Parking is FREE. SHOW HOURS: Check in: Saturday 8:30 to 9:30 am. Cats not benched by 9:30 am will be marked absent; exhibitors arriving late must inform each ring clerk that the cat is present. Judging will begin at 10 am Saturday and 9 am on Sunday. Advertized show hours: Saturday 10 am to 4 pm and Sunday 9 am to 4 pm. ENTRY INFO: Entries are accepted now. Please confirm online entries with the entry clerk; neither the club nor the entry clerk will be responsible for non-confirmed entries. Per show rule 6.21 each entry must be accompanied by the stipulated entry fee. All online/fax entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. Make checks payable to Nashville Cat Club; no post-dated. Make PayPal payments to nashvillecatclub@yahoo.com. No substitutions after the closing date. No refunds after the entry clerk has confirmed your entry or for failure to bench. Check your confirmation for accuracy and contact the entry clerk with any corrections BEFORE CLOSING DATE. Single cage size is approximate size 21 x 21 x 21; and is included with your entry. Exhibitors with a single entry using any size security cage are required to purchase an extra 1/2 cage. SCORING: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. Kittens may be entered without registration numbers, but will not be scored for CFA awards if a number is not provided at show time. Kittens without a registration number or TRN will not be included in the count. HEALTH: It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All claws of all entries must be clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. Kittens less than 4 months of age not allowed in show hall. If challenged, exhibitors must have litter registration available to verify kittens age. All cats in the show hall must be entered or benched in sales cages. CFA SHOW RULES WILL BE IN EFFECT. Copies of CFA Show Rules may be obtained from CFA 260 East Main Street, Alliance, Ohio 44601 for $7. SHOW HOTEL: Mainstay Suites 107 Brentwood Blvd. Brentwood, TN 37027 Phone: 615-371-8477. The show rate is $70 for single bed/$80 for two beds; call the hotel to book at this rate. The hotel is approximately 8 miles/15 minutes from the show hall. (call the hotel for this rate). SUPPLIES: Litter will be furnished. Please bring your own litter pan. Bring your own food and food bowls. Cage size is approximate size 21 x 21 x 21 (single cage included with entry); 21 x 21 x 42 (double cage). You will need cloth or towels to hang on the inside and cover the top and bottom of the cage. Please bring your cat to the show hall in a carrier or other sturdy container. Reasonable care will be taken to protect all cats and personal property; neither the Show Management nor the Fairgrounds is responsible for anything lost or damaged.
