The ANNUAL REGIONAL AWARDS BANQUET is Saturday evening, June 2, at the Crowne Plaza Mid Peninsula, Foster City. Contact Carole Goodwin for more information: carole@devons.com or 408-268-9695.

HOTEL: The official show hotel is The Crowne Plaza located at 1221 Chess Drive, Foster City, CA 94404. The room rate is $95.00 plus tax. Reservations must be made by May 2nd to guarantee rate and availability. You must mention CFA to get this rate. Make your reservations at 650-570-5700 or www.crowneplaza.com/sfo-peninsula. Cancellations made after 4PM the date of arrival will be charged one room night plus tax. The hotel has a shuttle from the airport, but will not be providing transportation to the show hall. The closest airport is San Francisco International (SFO).

SHOW HALL & DIRECTIONS: The show hall is Redwood Hall at the San Mateo Event Center 2495 S Delaware St, San Mateo. People food will be available. San Mateo Event Center rules prohibit bringing any outside food or beverages. The show hall will be locked at night. The Northwest Region or the San Mateo Event Center will not be liable in the case of personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property. Expect to pay for parking. The show hall is climate controlled. From 101 exit Delaware Street. Bear right on Concar Dr. Right on Delaware to 2495 S. Delaware Street, 4 blocks (located on the left side of street).

ENTRIES: All entries (including for sale or exhibition) must be on a signed, official CFA Entry Form or an exact copy. All fees must accompany entries. There will be a $3.00 charge for fax or e-mail entries. E-mail/faxed entries must be paid within 10 days or at the opening of the show, whichever occurs first. There is a $25.00 fee for returned checks. Make checks payable to Northwest Region. All fees must be in U.S. funds and accompany entries. No refund for failure to bench. One benching request per exhibitor please. Entry fee includes $1.00 mandatory CFA surcharge. CFA Show Rules will be strictly enforced. No kittens under 4 months of age or cats not officially entered are allowed in the show hall.

CAGES: Single cages are 21" x 21" x 21" and are provided with each entry. Double cages are 21" x 45" x 21". If you wish a double cage for a single entry, you must pay the additional cage fee of $20.00. No more than two (2) kittens or one (1) adult may be benched in a single cage. The bottom, top, and three (3) sides must be covered with curtains or toweling.

FOOD & LITTER: Cat litter will be provided. You should bring your own cat food, litter pan, food and water dishes.

AWARDS: Ribbons and rosettes will be awarded for all finals in compliance with CFA Show Rules. You may obtain a copy of the rules for $5.00 (U.S. funds) by writing to the Cat Fanciers Association, Inc., 1805 Atlantic Ave., PO Box 1005, Manasquan, NJ 08736-1005

HEALTH: This is a non-vetted show. We ask that all cats and kittens be current on vaccinations (FVRCP) and tested negative for FeLV. Under current CFA Show Rules, Show Management reserves the right to have any cat showing signs of illness, disease, or parasites removed from the show hall in order to protect other cats in the show. All claws must be clipped prior to benching. De-clawed cats are not eligible for entry. All household pet entries over 8 months of age must be spayed or neutered. No kittens under 4 months of age will be allowed in the show hall.

CATALOG ADVERTISING: $10 for business cards; $25 for half page; $50 for full page.
