ENTRY INFORMATION: Entries for Championship, Premiership, AOV and Provisional classes must have the registration number on the entry blank and printed in the catalog to be scored for CFA awards. Kittens may be entered without registration numbers, but will not be scored for CFA awards if a number is not provided at show time. Entry clerk will phone collect to clarify entries where necessary. No fees will be refunded for failure to bench. BENCHING requests will be honored wherever possible. One request or Agent allowed per exhibitor. NO negative benching requests. The club reserves the right to add judges not named to judge non-championship and Household pet classes. Kittens must be four months of age or older on opening day of show. Phoenix Feline Fanciers will not be responsible for damage, loss, personal injury, or loss of property. No cats may be left overnight in the show hall. There will be no vending from cages or groom spaces.
MAKE CHECKS PAYABLE TO: Phoenix Feline Fanciers. No postdated checks. $35 charge for returned checks. No kittens under the age of 4 months, or cats not officially entered are allowed in the show hall. FEES must accompany a signed Entry Blank, unless Faxed or E-Mailed. ALL FAX or E-MAIL ENTRIES must be paid within 10 days or at check-in, whichever comes first, per CFA Rules.
SHOW HALL: Phoenix Convention Center, South Building, Hall G, 33 South 3rd Street, Phoenix, AZ 85004. Phone: 602-495-0331. There will be concessions available. No outside food or Grand parties please. The Show hall is climate controlled with heat/air conditioning and is handicap accessible. No smoking in the show hall. Parking: The East Garage located on 7th to 5th and Washington to Jefferson with entrances off Washington from the west and Jefferson from the east. Cars are not allowed to line up on 5th Street where the loading dock for the South Building is. If you absolutely MUST use the loading dock area, you must wait in the staging area of the East Garage and the Convention Center security guards will monitor access to the dock area. See www.phoenixconventioncenter.com for a map of the South Building and the East Garage.
DIRECTIONS to the show hall and parking: From the I-10: Exit at 7th Street and go south to Washington Street, a one way street running West, so you must turn right onto Washington. -- the Garage entrance will be on the south side of Washington. The loading dock area of the South Building is on the west side of 5th Avenue, so you can park and walk across the street to access Hall G -- if you must drop stuff off, you will need to wait in the staging area of East Garage (see above). From the I-17: Exit at 7th Street and head north to Washington Street, make a left. Entrance to the East Garage is on the south side of the street.
SHOW HOTEL: Hilton Suites Phoenix 10 E. Thomas Road, Phoenix AZ 85012. The daily rate includes a daily hot breakfast buffet. Rates: $109/single; $114/double; $119 triple; $124/quad. There is a $50 REFUNDABLE pet deposit. For Reservations: Call 602-222- 1111 and mention "Phoenix Feline Fanciers", block available until November 28, 2008. Cancellation required 48 hours prior to arrival. Complimentary self parking saves $11 per day.

FLY-INS: Hotel/Airport Shuttle service is only available through Super Shuttle or call 1-800-258-3826. Taxi rides from the Airport run about $17.
CHECK IN AND JUDGING: Check in is 8:30 - 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Judging begins promptly at 10:00 a.m. Saturday and 9:00 a.m. on Sunday. Advertised Show Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday. No Cage may be dismantled during show hours without the Show Manager's approval.
BENCHING: Cages are 36" wide by 24" deep by 27" high. No Double Cage Charges. These are the Southern California cages. However, personal cages that exceed 36" in width will be charged an additional fee of $35.00. Only one cat or 2 kittens per cage in accordance with CFA show rules. LITTER will be provided. Bring your own litter pans, cage drapes, cat food, and dishes.
HEALTH: This is a non-vetted show. It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline enteritis, feline rhinotracheitis, and calici viruses and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All entries must be free of fleas or fungus. ALL CLAWS MUST BE CLIPPED PRIOR TO BENCHING. Declawed cats are not allowed for entry, per CFA show rules.
HOUSEHOLD PETS: Household pets must be four months of age or older on opening day of show. If eight months of age or older, they must be spayed or neutered. Cats should be bathed and claws clipped. HHP entries may not be declawed.

CFA AWARDS AND SPECIAL RECOGNITION AWARDS: Ribbons and rosettes will be awarded in accordance with CFA show rules. For a copy of the current CFA Show Rules, send $5.00 to: The Cat Fanciers Association, Inc., P.O. Box 1005, Manasquan, NJ 08736-1005. CFA show rules will be strictly enforced!
SPECIAL AWARDS: You and your cat can make history! Win a place in Phoenix history with your cat's name engraved on one of the beautiful perpetual trophies awarded at the Phoenix Feline Fanciers show. The Craig Rothermel Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the highest scoring cat in championship. The Becky Cotter Memorial Trophy will be awarded to the highest scoring cat in premiership. Special Allbreed Kitten Award: The highest scoring kitten will receive a special rosette. --You can't win if you don't show!
