Show Hall: Zinfandel and Cabernet Halls, Lodi Grape Festival, 413 E. Lockeford Street, Lodi, CA. Show hall is heated and air conditioned. People food will be available. Grand Parties and other cat related celebrations are welcome. Poppy State Cat Club and the Lodi Grape Festival will not be responsible for any personal injury, loss or damage to personal property.
Check-In: Check-in 7:30 - 8:30 am, judging begins at 9:00 am. Advertised show hours are from 9 am to 5 pm both days.
Cages: Single cages are 21" x 21" x 21" and are provided with each entry. Double cages are 21" x 45" x 21". If you wish a double cage for a single entry, you must pay the additional cage fee of $20.00. Single entry with security cage requires a double space. No more than two (2) kittens or one (1) adult may be benched in a single cage. The bottom, top, and three (3) sides must be covered.
General: This is a non vetted show, but all entries should be inoculated against Feline Panleukopenia, Calici virus and Rhinotracheitis before entry. All claws MUST be clipped prior to benching. No kittens under 4 months are allowed in the show hall. Household Pets over 8 months of age must be spayed/neutered. Declawed cats are not eligible for entry.
Food & Litter: Clay cat litter provided. Bring your own litter pan, food/water bowls, and cat food.
Awards: Ribbons and rosettes will be awarded for all finals in compliance with CFA Show Rules. All Championship, Premiership, and registered kittens will be scored for national and regional awards. You may obtain a copy of the rules for $5.00 (U.S. funds) by writing to the Cat Fanciers' Association, P.O. Box 1005, Manasquan NJ 08736-1005.
Directions: From Sacramento, from 99 South, take the Turner Road exit, go straight and it turns into N Cherokee Lane, right turn on E. Lockeford, go 1 block and enter the fairground parking lot on right. Coming from the South, take 99 North, take the Central Lodi /San Andreas exit, turn left and cross over the freeway, turn right on N Cherokee Lane, turn left on E. Lockeford.
Show Hotel: Super 8 Hotel (916) 427-7925, 7216 55th Street, Sacramento (located just off Hwy 99 at Florin Road, about 25 miles North of showhall). Room rate $75 including tax & pet fee & continental breakfast. Please ask for the Cat Show rate. Alternate hotels: Comfort Inn, 118 N. Cherokee, Lodi (209) 367-4898; Microtel, 6428 W. Fees: Please make checks payable (in U.S. funds) to Poppy State Cat Club. There will be a $25.00 fee for returned checks, for ANY reason, and a $10.00 fee for substitutions. Per show rule 11.08 a. each entry must be accompanied by the entry fee except fax or email entries. Faxed/email entries MUST be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. All fees must accompany entries. Entry fees will not be refunded for failure to bench.
Misc: Any entry in Championship, Premiership, Provisional or AOV classes must be submitted with a CFA registration number. The entry clerk will call collect if entry information is illegible or incomplete.
