Entry Information: All entries must be signed and submitted on an official CFA form or exact facsimile. Fees must accompany entry forms. Checks must be in U.S. funds and made payable to PSCC. There will be a $25.00 service charge for returned checks. No refunds will be made once entries have been received or for failure to bench. Pay Pal is available online for this show. Credit Card/Debt Card payment is also available.
Check-in/Show Hours: Check-in time will be 8:30 to 9:30 am. Show hours are from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Saturday, 9:00 am to 4:00 on Sunday. PLEASE HELP US GET THE SHOW DONE BY 4:00 PM. One benching request per exhibitor will be honored whenever possible. No benching changes are permitted without the permission of the show manager.
Show Rules: The show will be conducted in accordance with current CFA show rules. These may be obtained for $5 plus $2 postage from CFA, 260 East Main Street, Alliance, OH 44601.
Scoring: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. Kittens may be entered without registration numbers, but will not be scored for CFA awards if a number is not provided at show time. Kittens without a registration number or TRN will not be included in the count.
Health: No veterinary inspection will be required prior to benching. It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All cats/kittens must have all claws clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition.
Household Pets & Veterans: Household pets are eligible only for awards in the Household Pet Class. Household pets are to be judged separately from all other cats, solely on beauty and condition. Wild cats or wild cat-domestic hybrid crosses are not eligible for entry. All Household Pets eight (8) months of age or older must be spayed or neutered. Veteran’s Class (For Cats 7+ years).
Cages: Single cages (one provided per entry) are 21” x 21” x 21”. Double cages are 21” x 45” x 21”. No more than one adult cat or two kittens are permitted in a single cage. Three sides, the top and the bottom of the cage must be covered.
Food & Litter: Litter will be provided. Cat food will be available as donated. We suggest you bring your cat’s preferred food, as well as litter pans and food and water dishes. People food is available at the venue. Homemade soups, salads, and sandwiches are among the items served.
Local Hotel Info: There is no designated show hotel. Several locals motels accept pets; please call hotel/motel for rates and applicable pet fees.
Airport Info: Portland International Airport (PDX) is under an hour from the show hall. Seattle, WA (SEA) is about two hours from the show hall.
*Show Rule 2.19E: The MISCELLANEOUS (non-Competitive) CLASS is for any registered cat or registered kitten of a breed not accepted for Provisional Breed Competition. Miscellaneous class entries are examined by judges; however, no awards will be made in the class. All Bengal championship, premiership and kitten entries can enter under a TRN, but all Bengals in the show hall must be registrable, (5 generation pedigree with no wild blood).
