Entry & Payment Information: Entries are accepted now. Entry Fees include CFA & Regional surcharges. Per show rule 6.21 each entry must be accompanied by the stipulated entry fee. All online/fax entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. Pay Pal is available for this show (link above). Credit Card/Debt Card payment is also available. No substitutions after the closing date. No refunds after the entry clerk has confirmed your entry or for failure to bench. Check your confirmation for accuracy and contact the entry clerk with any corrections BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE. Check-in/Show Hours: Check-in time will be 8:30 to 9:30 am. Show hours are from 10 am - 5 pm on Saturday; 9 am - 4 pm on Sunday. PLEASE HELP US GET THE SHOW DONE BY 4 pm. Show Rules: The show will be conducted in accordance with current CFA show rules. These may be obtained for $5 plus $2 postage from CFA, 260 East Main Street, Alliance, OH 44601. Scoring: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. Kittens may be entered without registration numbers, but will not be scored for CFA awards if a number is not provided at show time. Kittens without a registration number or TRN will not be included in the count. Health: No veterinary inspection will be required prior to benching. It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All cats/kittens must have all claws clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. Household Pets & Veterans: Household pets are eligible only for awards in the Household Pet Class. Household pets are to be judged separately from all other cats, solely on beauty and condition. Wild cats or wild cat-domestic hybrid crosses are not eligible for entry. All Household Pets eight (8) months of age or older must be spayed or neutered. Veteran’s Class (For Cats 7+ years). Cages: A single cage 21” x 21” x 21” is provided with each entry. A double cage is 21” x 21” x 45”. You may purchase a double cage for a single entry @$20. Back, sides, top and floor of cage must be covered. No more than one adult or two kittens per single cage. The club is requesting that no grooming spaces be placed in the aisles. A limited number of single cages are available. Food & Litter: Litter will be provided. Cat food will be available as donated. We suggest you bring your cat’s preferred food, as well as litter pans and food and water dishes. People food is available at the venue. Homemade soups, salads, and sandwiches are among the items served. Local Hotel Info: There is no designated show hotel. Several locals motels accept pets; please call hotel/motel for rates and applicable pet fees. Airport Info: Portland International Airport (PDX) is under an hour from the show hall.
