Entries: All entries (including for sale or exhibition) must be on a signed, official CFA Entry Form or an exact copy. All fees must accompany entries. Early Bird Entries must be paid for by October 1, 2007. There will be a $3.00 charge for fax or e-mail entries. E-mail/faxed entries must be paid within 10 days or at the opening of the show, whichever occurs first. Make checks payable to CFA NW Region. All fees must be in U.S. funds and accompany entries. No refund for failure to bench. One benching request per exhibitor please. Entry fee includes $1.00 mandatory CFA surcharge. CFA Show Rules will be strictly enforced. No kittens under 4 months of age or cats not officially entered are allowed in the show hall. Check-In: 7:30-9:00am. Show hours 9:30-5:00 Saturday and 9:00-4:00 Sunday Show Hall & Directions: The show hall is Valdez Hall at the Fresno Convention and Entertainment Center, 848 M Street, Fresno, CA 93721. Parking will be available behind Valdez Hall off of O Street. There will be a parking fee. People food will be available in the show hall. Fresno Convention Center rules prohibit bringing any outside food or beverages. The show hall will be locked at night. The Northwest Region, Southwest Region and the Convention Center will not be liable in the case of personal injury, loss, or damage to personal property. The show hall is climate controlled. Show Hotel: Radisson Hotel and Fresno Conference Center, 2233 Ventura Street, Fresno, CA. 93721. Reservations can be made on-line at www.radisson.com/cfa. Reservations can also be made by calling 559-268-1000 and ask for the CFA room block, or call 800-333-3333 and ask for the Cat Fanciers Room block. King or Double $99. The show hotel is directly across the street from the Show Hall. Reservations should be made by October 27th for this reduced room rate. The Radisson Hotel runs shuttles to and from the Fresno/Yosemite International Airport (FAT) which is the closest airport for this show. Deposits & Fees: The Radisson Hotel will charge a $50.00 refundable deposit per room at time of check-in. If room is damaged by animal, deposit will not be returned and could incur additional cost based on damage to room. The hotel will charge a $50.00 loose cat fee for any animal found outside of its cage in guestroom. The hotel will charge a $50.00 escaped cat fee for any animal that is found loose outside of a guestroom. Inspections will not be made at time of checkout, however, individuals will be contacted and charged after the show if damage is later detected. Please make sure your room is properly cleaned of all animal products before sign-out and that any litter is properly bagged and disposed of. We would like to be able to use this show hall again. Please mention CFA and our ref# number with both hotels to get this rate. Cages: Single cages are 21" x 21" x 21" and are provided with each entry. Double cages are 21" x 45" x 21". If you wish a double cage for a single entry, you must pay the additional cage fee of $20.00. No more than two (2) kittens or one (1) adult may be benched in a single cage. The bottom, top, and three (3) sides must be covered with curtains or toweling. Food & Litter: Cat litter will be provided at the show hall. You should bring your own cat food, litter pan, food and water dishes. Awards: Ribbons and rosettes will be awarded for all finals in compliance with CFA Show Rules. We ask that all cats and kittens be current on vaccinations (FVRCP) and tested negative for FeLV. Under current CFA Show Rules, Show Management reserves the right to have any cat showing signs of illness, disease, or parasites removed from the show hall in order to protect other cats in the show. All claws must be clipped prior to benching. De-clawed cats are not eligible for entry. All household pet entries over 8 months of age must be spayed or neutered.
