ENTRY INFO: Per show rule 11.08 a. entries must be accompanied by the stipulated entry fee. If the club opts to accept fax or email entries, such entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. It is the exhibitor’s responsibility to confirm receipt of online/faxed entries with the Entry Clerk. The club will not be responsible for entries lost due to communication errors. SHOW HOURS: Saturday 8:00-9:00 am, cats must be benched by 9:00 or will be marked absent. Judging will begin promptly at 9:30 am Saturday and 9:00 am Sunday. Advertised show hours are 9:00 am – 4:00 pm both days. All benched entries, with the exception of kittens, must remain in the show hall until the advertised closing hour. SHOW HOTEL: Show Hotel: There is no official show hotel, however Red Roof and Motel 6 are near the show hall. ADDITIONAL INFO: All championship, premiership and kitten entries with registration numbers will be scored for CFA National and Regional points. No declawed entries are permitted and all entry’s front and rear claws must be clipped prior to benching. No kittens under 4 months are permitted in the show hall. Exhibitors must transport cats into and out of the show hall in an enclosed, secured carrier. No exhibitor may leave cats or kittens in the show hall overnight. HEALTH: It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, calici viruses and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All cats must be free of fleas, ear mites, or any contagious or infectious illness. SUPPLIES: Litter will be provided but not litter pans. Cage size is approximately 22"x22"x22". Per show rule 11.01 Any person entering a cat or kitten in a show held under the rules of CFA shall by such act agree to abide by, and this person and the entry of this person shall be subject to these rules. CFA show rules may be obtained for $7 each from CFA, 260 E. Main St. Alliance, OH 44601.
