Entry Information: All entries must be submitted on an official CFA entry form, printed or typed clearly. On-line entry is available at www.cfamidwest.org All fees must accompany entries. Please make checks payable to Sandhills-Midlands Cat Show. Entry fees may be paid through PayPal. Make payments to Jack.nichols01@cox.net and include Sandhills-Midlands Cat Show in the notes field. No fee will be returned for failure to bench. Per show rule 11.08.a faxed and email entries MUST be paid within ten days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. One half cage is included with each entry. All Security cages require a double cage space: $25.00 double cage fee applies. Wire benching cages will not be set-up, but will be available for exhibitors use. SHOW HALL/HOTEL: Ramada Convention Center 3321 S 72nd St. Omaha, NE Phone: 402 393 3950. Special show rate of $74.00 (ask for the Sandhills Cat Show room block). There is no pet fee for this show. There will be NO SMOKING in the show hall. Show Hours: Check-in Saturday 7:30 am – 8:30 am. Show hours Saturday: 9am until finals; Sunday: 9am until finals. This is a non-vetted show. Cats are expected to be free of fungus and infectious disease. Exhibitors are advised to have their cats vaccinated against Feline Enteritis, Rhinotracheitis, Calici Virus, and Rabies. FELV testing is recommended. All claws must be clipped prior to benching. No kitten under 4 months of age will be allowed in the show hall. Owners of very small kittens may be asked to show registration papers. An exhibitor must own cats and kittens for sale. Litter will be provided, please bring your own litter pans, food, dishes and cage curtains. Single cage sizes are 21”x27”x21”. Double cage size is 21”X27”X45”. No more than one cat or two kittens may be benched in a single cage. Only cats entered in the show or for sale may be present in the show hall. Reasonable care will be taken to safeguard the property of the exhibitors; however, neither Sandhills Cat Club, Midlands Cat Fanciers, nor Ramada Convention Center will be liable for any loss or damage. Sandhills Cat Club-Midlands Cat Fanciers reserves the right to add judges not named to judge CFA Information: All Championship, Premiership and registered Kitten entries will be scored for CFA Regional/National awards. All championship, premiership and kitten entries with registration numbers or temporary registration numbers will be scored for CFA National and Regional points. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. This show is licensed by The Cat Fanciers Association, Inc. All CFA show rules will be enforced.
