Entry Info: No additional fees for online or fax entries. Entries are accepted now. Entry Fees include CFA & Regional surcharges. Per show rule 6.21 each entry must be accompanied by the stipulated entry fee. All online/fax entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. Early birds entries MUST BE PAID IN FULL BY 1/17/18. Make checks payable to Star City Cat Fanciers; returned check fee is $50 + any bank fees. No substitutions after the closing date. No refunds after the entry clerk has confirmed your entry or for failure to bench. Check your confirmation for accuracy and contact the entry clerk with any corrections BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE.
Show Hall/Hotel: Holiday Inn - Valley View 3315 Ordway Dr. Roanoke, VA, 540-362-4500. Call the hotel and ask for the "cat Show rate". Room Rates - $81 with refundable pet deposit. The show hall is non-Smoking, heated and handicapped-accessible. The Holiday Inn Hotel Roanoke is nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains and is centrally located to downtown Roanoke. Just 2 miles off I-81 and 1 mile from the Roanoke Regional Airport (ROA) with complimentary airport shuttle. Sorry, the club can not provide transportation.
Check-In and Show Hours: Check-in is from 8 to 9:30 am on Saturday. Report any transfers or absentees at check-in. Judging will begin promptly at 10 am Saturday & 9 am on Sunday. Advertised closing is 4 pm both days.
New Exhibitors: Please be sure to indicate so on your entry and we’ll be sure to bench you with some experienced exhibitors. Also, check out the CFA New Bee site for information just for new exhibitors! www.cfanewbee.org
Benching: Single cage size is approximately 22"x22"x22" and is included with your entry fee. Exhibitors with an odd number of entries using any size security cage are required to purchase an extra 1/2 cage. **EOR fee will be waived for handicapped exhibitors. Litter will be provided, bring cage curtains (or coverings) to cover the sides, top and bottom of cage. Kittens under 4 months are not permitted in the show hall or on the show grounds. No cats or kittens may be left in the show hall overnight. Only benched cats and kittens are permitted in the show hall, none may be confined in carriers.* Sales cages with paid entry as available.
Scoring: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with an Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of cats/kittens without registration numbers can contact the entry clerk for a Temporary Registration Number.
Household Pets: All entries must be at least 4 months old; all entries 8 months or older must be neutered or spayed. Entries may not be declawed.
Health: It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All claws of each entry must be clipped prior to benching. Failure to do so will subject the entry to disqualification. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition.

Liability: The Cat Fanciers’ Association or the Holiday Inn will not be responsible for damage, loss, or personal injury during this event.


Our clubs are helping to feed local animals.
Bring a bag of cat or dog to our show. Food will be delivered to pets of families in need.
