SHOW HALL: Westmoreland County Community College 145 Pavilion Lane, Youngwood PA 15697 Ph: 724-925-4000. The show Hall is heated or air conditioned, as needed. This is a non smoking hall. The western Pennsylvania Cat Fanciers and the Westmoreland County Community College will not be responsible for lost or damage to personal property. People food is available on site.
ENTRIES: Make Checks Payable to: Western Pennsylvania Cat Fanciers (US Funds only). All fees must accompany entries. No post dated checks will be accepted. A $35.00 fee will be charged for each returned check. Any returned checks must be covered by a Money Order or cash. Please type or print legibly. Collect calls will be made in the event an entry is illegible or incomplete. NO SALES CAGES PERMITTED WITHOUT AN ENTRY. Benching requests will be honored only for those who enter both shows.
CHECK-IN: All cats must be checked in between 7–8:30 AM each day. Judging will begin at 9 AM on Saturday and 9 AM on Sunday. Advertised show hours are 9-5 on Saturday and 9-5 on Sunday.
RULES: CFA Show Rules will be strictly enforced. Current A copy of the current CFA show rules may be obtained by sending $7 to Cat Fanciers' Association, 260 E. Main St. Alliance, OH 44601 or online.
NON-VETTED SHOW: All cats should be free of fleas, fungus, ear mites or contagious diseases. Any entry suspected of having any of these will be removed from the show hall until it can pass a veterinary inspection. All claws must be clipped. You are advised to have all cats and kittens inoculated for Feline Enteritis, Rhinotracheitis and Calicivirus and tested for FeLV prior to entry.
SUPPLIES: Cat litter will be available. Please provide your own cat food, dishes and litter pans. Benching cages are 22x22x22".
AWARDS: Rosettes will be offered in all rings for Final Awards. We will be using permanent ribbons where applicable, but cloth ribbons will be available for those who desire them. All championship, premiership and kitten entries with registration numbers or temporary registration numbers will be scored for CFA National and Regional points. Owners of novices can contact the entry clerk for a temporary registration number. Kittens without registration numbers may be shown but will not be scored.
NOVICE EXHIBITORS: Bring a towel or rug for the floor of the cage and enough fabric to go around 3 sides and cover the top. Secure with clips or pins. All cats must be brought in a carrier.
