Health Certificates Notice to out-of-state exhibitors State of Kansas regulations require that all out-of-state entries have a health certificate issued within 30 days of the show, stating that the cat/kitten is current on its inoculations including rabies. A state official may ask to see the certificate so please be prepared. This is a state of Kansas regulation and law beyond the control of the Wichita Cat Fancy, Inc. Show Hall Cotillion Ballroom 11120 West Kellogg Dr. Wichita, KS 67209 Phone: 316-722-4201. Our show hall is heated & air-conditioned (as needed) and handicap accessible. Smoking is allowed outside only. People food will be available. Show Hours: Check-in: 7:30 - 8:30 am Saturday. Show will begin at 9 am on Saturday and Sunday. Advertised hours are 9 am – 4 pm or until the last final of the day on Saturday and Sunday. All benched entries will be expected to remain in the show hall until advertised closing time, unless permission is given by Show Manager. Scoring All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with a Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of cats/kittens without registration numbers can contact the entry clerk for a Temporary Registration Number. Health It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, Calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. All cats/kittens must have all claws clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition. Benching: A single cage is provided with each entry. Single cage size is 22 x 22 x 22; double cage size is 22 x 22 x 45. Wire cages are available please advise the entry clerk if you would like to use one. Exhibitors with a single entry using any size security cage are required to purchase an extra 1/2 cage. Bring cage curtains or towels to hang on the inside, top and bottom of cage. Litter will be provided. Bring your own litter pans, cat food and water dishes. No kittens under 4 months of age are allowed in the show hall. Per show rule 10.05 No more than two kittens or one cat may be benched in a singe space(1/2 cage) whether entered for competition, exhibition or benched for sale. All cats must be brought in a secured carrier. Local Hotel Info: Note: Wichita Cat Fancy, Inc. makes no endorsement or recommendation of these hotels.
