Must enter each show separately Entry Fees include CFA & Regional surcharges. Per show rule 6.21 each entry must be accompanied by the stipulated entry fee. All online/fax entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. Make check payable to GEMS for BOTH SHOWS. There will be a $50 late fee added to any fees owed two weeks after the show date. No substitutions after the closing date. Show Hall: Richmond Raceway Complex, Colonial Bldg. 600 East Laburnum Avenue, Richmond, VA 23222. The show hall is both heated and air-conditioned. This is a Non-Smoking facility. Parking is free for exhibitors and spectators. See confirmation regarding food at the show hall. Show Hours: Check-In is 7 – 8 am both days. Judging hours are 8:30 am - 5 pm (or completion of finals) Saturday and Sunday. Doors open to the public 9 am - 5 pm both days. Scoring: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with a Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of cats/kittens without registration numbers can contact the entry clerk for a Temporary Registration Number. Benching: Egyptian Maus entries will be benched by breed. Benching for all others will be by exhibitor and no changes in assignment will be allowed without permission of the Show Manager. Whenever possible, handicap requests will be benched with no extra charge * single entry with EOR must purchase an extra 1/2 cage. All entries should be inoculated against Panleukopenia, Rhinotracheitis and the Calici Viruses, and we recommend that they be tested for FeLV prior to entering the show hall. All cats must be free of mites, fleas, fungus and any contagious illnesses. All claws (front and back) must be clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition.
