Entry & Payment Info: Entries are accepted now. Per show rule 6.21 each entry must be accompanied by the stipulated entry fee. All online/fax entries must be paid in full within 10 days of receipt or prior to the start of the show, whichever is first. Make checks payable to Midwest Persian Tabby Fanciers. CASH ONLY for entry fees paid at the door at check-in. A Late Fee of $25 will be added to any entry fees paid after 2/10/19. No substitutions after the closing date. No refunds after the entry clerk has confirmed your entry or for failure to bench. Check your confirmation for accuracy and contact the entry clerk with any corrections BEFORE THE CLOSING DATE.
Show Hours: Check-In is 7:30-8:30 am on Saturday; the show will start at 9 am both days. Advertised Show Hours: 9 am - 4 pm both days.
Local Hotel Info: There is no designated show hotel, the following are suggestions; exhibitors should confirm any pet fees at the time of booking. Scoring: All entries in Championship (except Novice), Premiership (except Novice), registered Kittens, recorded Household Pets, and registered cats competing as Household Pets with a Household Pet color class prefix will be scored for CFA awards. Owners of cats/kittens without registration numbers can contact the entry clerk for a Temporary Registration Number.
Awards: This is a CFA licensed show. Rosettes and ribbons will be awarded in accordance with CFA Show Rules. Permanent ribbons will be used for color classes. All Championship, Premiership and registered Kitten entries will be scored for CFA National and Regional awards.
Household Pets: All entries must be at least 4 months old; all entries 8 months or older must be neutered or spayed. Entries may not be declawed.
Benching: Single cage measures approximately 22” x 22” x 22” and is included with your entry fee. Single entries using ANY size security cage must purchase extra 1/2 cage space. Please bring cage curtains, fabric or towels for the top, sides and bottom of your benching cage. Litter will be provided. Please bring your own food bowls, water bowls, and food and litter pans. No cats will be permitted to leave the show hall during the posted show hours without the permission of show management.
Health: It is strongly advised that all cats or kittens entered or present in the show hall be inoculated before entry by a licensed veterinarian against feline panleukopenia (formerly known as feline distemper or feline infectious enteritis), feline rhinotracheitis, calicivirus and rabies. It is also strongly recommended that cats and kittens be tested and found negative for FeLV before entry. The exhibitor of any entry showing evidence of fungus, fleas, ear mites or any contagious disease will be asked to remove that entry as well as their other entries from the show hall. All claws of all entries must be clipped prior to benching. Declawed cats are not eligible for competition.
Liability: The sponsoring club reserves the right to add and/or substitute judges not named in the show flyer should it become necessary. The sponsoring club will take reasonable care of all cats and personal property, but will not be held liable for loss of property, damage, or accidents to cats or exhibitors.
